Kevin Mason, associate professor of history at Waldorf University in Forest City, Iowa, will present about his 2021 walk from the Keokuk area to Spirit Lake while following the 1835 1st United States Dragoons. Come along to better understand how Iowa changed from first American military exploration to the present day, while also learning about important Indigenous leaders including Black Hawk, Wapello, and Inkpaduta.
