What is a Library of Things?!?
The Library of Things (LoT) is a collection of non-typical library lending items. A sustainable initiative, the LoT provides patrons with the chance to borrow items rather than buy them, either to test them out before purchase or to use for one-off projects. Below, these items are sorted by broad categories to give you an idea of what we have at the library. If you have ideas for other useful items to consider adding, please let us know!
KITS
Types of kits at the library include STEM and Story Time in the children’s department, as well as Memory Kits in the general LoT. Memory kits are specifically designed for caregivers to enjoy with loved ones that have Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or memory loss.
